Very good book if you lot want to know more about the origins of JKD. A must read for practitioners.

This book volition open your eyes to the "existent" Bruce Lee. He was more than than an action motion-picture show star. He is a philosopher who sought the most "efficient" way to the truth. He loved learning and was a true craftsman who constantly honed his art. He wanted to inspire others to pursue their own journeys of enlightenment. First he tried opening small schools for select students. Later he plant success and fame in film. But these were not his goals.

This book will open your eyes to the "real" Bruce Lee. He was more than than an action picture star. He is a philosopher who sought the nigh "efficient" way to the truth. He loved learning and was a true craftsman who constantly honed his art. He wanted to inspire others to pursue their own journeys of enlightenment. Beginning he tried opening small schools for select students. Later he establish success and fame in picture show. But these were non his goals.The author was a close friend to Bruce and shares many illuminating anecdotes and explains things clearly. The pictures as well enriching. 5 stars.

Dan Inosanto teaches The Art and Philosophy of Jeet Kune Exercise, Filipino Martial Arts, Shoot wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Silat, mixed martial arts and other arts at his Marina del Rey, California school, the Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts. He was a student of Ed Parker whom he besides received a shodan from and practiced his sport in American Kenpo Karate before becoming a student of wo Dan Inosanto teaches The Fine art and Philosophy of Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts, Shoot wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Silat, mixed martial arts and other arts at his Marina del Rey, California school, the Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts.
